Each team has 6 towers, 3 phoenixes, and 1 titan. The main objective of the game mode is to gain experience to level up the rank and get gold as a reward to buy items, then attack the enemy team's towers, phoenixes, and titan. The game is the first of its type, a true multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) in TTP view, and fresh enough to lure players from traditional MOBAs like League Of Legends or Dota. Smite is a very fast-paced game due to its quick nature and is closer to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and StarCraft. The players have to learn to use the Smite map and the TTP view to their advantage while playing. Moreover, The gameplay skills have a larger impact in which a single movement makes or breaks a fight and has a high skill cap, and there are no bushes. In terms of game strategy and movement: Smite is just like Dota. Game items have progressions fixed to a type of god, and both magic and physical god scale in power over time. Additionally, the last-hitting feature is slightly interesting and beneficial but not required at all. In terms of game items: Smite is similar to League Of Legends. The Conquest mode works as the gods are balanced, with a large map(five person each side, 5v5) and three lanes. Clash mode is a 5v5 mode with two lanes, Joust mode is 3v3 on a single lane, Arena mode is 5v5 in an arena, while Siege mode is a 4v4 with two lanes. In terms of mode: Smite has multiple staple modes and a MOTD (mode of the day) that rotates regularly. The game is viewed from a third-person point (TTP), and almost every ability is a ground target called a skill shot. Smite’s characters are gods from mythological pantheons, such as Greek, Roman, Chinese, Japanese, Mayan, and Hindu, with more coming. The game lets players take on the role of gods from various Polytheism. S.N.Smite is a free online multiplayer game just like Dota or League Of Legends. The character’s abilities are all weak and can be countered easily by any other gods so they fall in the lowest-ranked tier. These are the gods you should avoid at all costs because they do not contribute much to your team and can also cause your defeat. These gods are least preferred among players and have fewer stats in attack, range, and defense aspects. With minor tweaks or buffs, Gods under the D tier can rise up to the rank, but for now, they are under the lower tier rating compared to other powerful gods. I suggest you ignore the C-tier in serious matches, but you can experiment with combining their ability with high-ranked gods if you want to take risks. S.N.Ĭhoosing gods under the C tier can be of great help in a team match, but not more than two because they can work great in a team with S-tier and A-tier gods but not with their own category. They are like the jack of all trades balancing out every aspect from defense, offense, and use of abilities. They are under the impression of average gods, but you can work your expertise specializing on gods under the B-tier list. It all depends on the player’s ability to handle the situation. Gods under B-tier are not that bad or good. They can take some time to grind, but these gods are worth remembering their powers to conquer the battleground. Characters under A-tier are mighty once you learn to execute their abilities effectively on the battlefield. Under the right circumstance and in the hands of professionals, A-tier gods can be devastating. Gods under S-tier can wipe out the entire team solo, provided that you have maxed out their level and if you have enough items, could use their abilities effectively. These gods are best when dealing the most damage and with great defense. While you might get overwhelmed with the ever-growing number of gods within the game, you can always pick the best one and avoid choosing the weaker ones with our tier list guide. Having knowledge about the skills of your god and your opponent’s god makes all the difference on the battlefield. Regardless of the strongest or the weakest Smite characters, the ability to use skills and items effectively within the game is a significant factor for players to rise victorious. Understanding their abilities in the battleground is crucial to counter and use your skills in the best way possible. They are divided into five different classes Hunter, Mage, Assassin, Warrior, and Guardian. Nonetheless, some gods are built robustly, and some are not quite so. Each god is unique to its characters and skills and you can play them as per your preference. Smite is a highly competitive MOBA game with an ever-growing number of gods.
